Obviously, this sound is very much scratch and the music is just to get an idea of what I might want.
I don't want the music to be too prominent in the film as I want it to just break silence and enhance the characters' actions. The music included in this animatic is snippets of an original piece from my composer. I kind of liked how wintery the music felt, but I also think it might sound too lullaby-like, so I'd like feedback on the type of music, not necessarily this exact track.
The dialogue here is the first set of samples from my voice actors, so some of the inflections might change a bit as we move forward in production. Their takes on some of the lines are also making me rethink how I want some of the shots to play out as well (ie originally I wanted Lynn to be yelling when she bursts out of the car, but I also like this idea of her first talking to herself out loud and then getting louder). Additionally, my male voice actor skipped over some lines in the flashback sequence (that still needs a lot of work) because I didn't clearly outline them in the script. Needless to say, I am really excited to work with my voice actors.
I hope you enjoy this sixth first animatic!
